Alcatraz, public transport and why is my cheese orange?

After a long night watching the top 40 one hit wonders of the 90's, we woke up early and headed out to Pier 33 to catch the boat out to Alcatraz. The public transport here is great. We walked about 10 minutes to catch a couple of muni's out to where we needed to be. Process was a little confusing at first but the people are amazingly friendly and helpful. Any time we even start to look confused, someone will jump in and help us out. This happened about 5 times today. Pretty much have it under control now.

Alcatraz was amazing. Spent about an hour and a half doing a walking tour of the gardens before doing the audio tour for another hour and a half. Could have spent all day there if we didn't have the wiener patrol with us filling the place with sass talk that hasn't been heard on the rock since March 1963. Went and had seafood at Pier 33 (Some opted for a steaming bread bowl of clam chowder, while I had a less vomit looking salmon burger) and watched the sea lions kick the shit out of each other. Classic sea lion behaviour. So good.

Tomorrow is a new day and I will see what mis/adventures will befall us. Also, the cheese is this bright orange colour. It's quite disconcerting.
