And the magic continues

Day two of Disneyland and what better way to start the day than a Big Breakfast from McDonalds. Remember these? They still have them here. Only difference is instead of a muffin they come with a "biscuit" which is actually a scone. Scones and sausages. Ok, I'll try it.Weird.

Order of events for the day:
  • Princess Fantasy Fair - photos with Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - a train ride roller coaster  through the wild west.
  • Pirates of the Carribean - ride was awesome. Way better than the movies.
  • Photos with Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas.
  • Haunted Mansion Holiday - a twisted Xmas ride through Halloweenland. Amazing.
  • Splash Mountain - Disney equivalent of the log ride. Rad.
  • Tarzan's Treehouse - a climb through the world of Tarzan with a few interactive elements. Pretty tame.
  • Enchanted Timing Room - the birds sing! And so do the plants! And so do the walls! Brilliant.

And then we headed across the road to California Adventure Park to get ready for tomorrow and Suss out the good rides. Only hit up a couple of small rides while we waited for our fast passes for California Screaming to kick in. Biggest disappointment of the day. As we were just about to get on the closed it due to some maintenance required. Hopefully will be open tomorrow as this roller coaster looks badass. Finished of the day here with the Grizzly River Rafting Co rapids ride. Probably the best ride of this type I have ever been on. Guess who got the wettest? M of course. So good.

Quick stop at home to have a shower and a sandwich from Quiznos (better than subway but same sort of sandwich) before heading back to Disneyland to see the fireworks spectacular Believe in Holiday Magic. I'm glad they turned the lights down so no one could see me cry like a little girl. What an amazing sight to see these beautiful fireworks over the iconic Disney castle. Best night of the holidays so far. Bring on tomorrow and the roller coasters.
